What to Wear

Tartan kilt (the plaid-patterned wrap/skirt)

Cream of white Highland shirt

Boots or simple dark shoes

Sporran (small pouch worn at the front) - optional

Proper Highlander

For the clansman ready to look as though the Highlands actually sent him. 

What to wear

Tartan Kilt

 Highland shirt

 Sporran

 Kilt hose (the tall socks)

 Flashes (the small ribbons worn at the tops of the socks)

Belt

Add a tartan plaid (a length of matching plaid fabric worn over the shoulder) if ye fancy

What to wear

A Great Kilt or belted plaid  - (a large piece of tartan wrapped around the waist with the extra fabric worn over the shoulder)

 Cream linen or Highland shirt,
